In order to register to play sports at Pioneer High School, students must complete and submit in person the following items:
» $150 Pay to Participate Fee ($75 for second sport)
» $30 Check/Money Order/Cash for the Athletic Benefit Fee
» AAPS Emergency Card (1 per sport)
Furthermore, an athlete must have passed 5 classes the previous semester and maintain a 2.0 grade point average in order to participate in athletics. An athlete cannot participate in any Pioneer sport, game or practice until he/she has sucessfully completed the athletic registration. No exceptions allowed.
Registration for sports can be done up until the date of the first practice in the athletic office between 7:30AM and 4:00PM on weekdays.

Questions and concerns may be directed to the Athletic Department office at 994-2151 between the hours of 7:30AM and 4:00PM. Phone lines are often busy during the registration period so please be patient.
Information about Physicals
Physical examinations are occasionally offered at Pioneer High School. Physicals will be held in the Auxiliary gym located by the east side “flag pole entrance”. The cost of each physical is $25 per student and must be written as a separate check from the benefit fee to Pioneer High School. Please contact the athletic office to find out when the next “physical testing” date is.
**Please note that the athletic benefit fee may be waived if any of the following can be provided:
» Proof of medicare/medicaid cards
» A letter from the free lunch program indicating acceptance
» Proof of food stamp aid from the Family Independence Program (FIP)
» Proof of food stamp aid from the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservation (FDPIR)
