After leading by single goal margins throughout most of the game, a slim 3rd period Pioneer lead slipped away Monday night and ultimately ended in disappointment for the young Pioneer squad. Ann Arbor Skyline evened the scored late in the contest and then found the back of the net with four minutes gone in sudden-death overtime to earn the win over Ann Arbor Pioneer. The Pioneers took the early lead off a one-time blast from Jackson Roberts, but Skyline quickly evened the score in a pattern that repeated itself throughout the night. The see-saw battle eventually saw six different lead changes. Gaiden Heatley led the Pioneer scoring attack, posting his first hat trick of the young season. Wyatt Bullinger also scored for the Pioneers. The Pioneers (0-3) are on the road again Friday December 1st to face off against Riverview. Game time in 7:30 PM.
